BANGKOK, Thailand – Public Relations Department (PRD) Director-General Sudruetai Lertkasem conducted a final inspection at Beyond Resort Kata in Phuket on August 18 ahead of the 23rd Annual General Conference of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD GC 2025). The conference, hosted by Thailand from August 19 to 21, brings international media representatives to the southern province for three days of discussions on the future of broadcasting.
The review covered venue arrangements, technical systems, and logistical support to ensure the event runs efficiently. Preparations were confirmed to be in place, signaling Thailand’s readiness to host a major international media gathering.
As the host agency, the PRD has coordinated with regional and global media organizations to provide a platform for cooperation and the exchange of professional expertise.
The conference is expected to strengthen collaboration among broadcasters in the Asia–Pacific region while promoting Thailand as a capable and reliable host for high-level international meetings. (NNT)
