Khao Kheow Open Zoo introduces three newborn capybaras, born March 25, now on display as visitor numbers rise during the Songkran holiday, alongside festive activities and family events running from April 11–15.

CHONBURI, Thailand – Khao Kheow Open Zoo is welcoming visitors with the arrival of three newborn capybaras, adding to its popular animal attractions. The babies, born on March 25, are the offspring of the same pair that produced the well-known trio “King, Kong, and Kaew.”

The newborns are being raised naturally by their mother, and their genders have not yet been identified. All three are in good health and are now on display at the zoo’s capybara exhibit for visitors to see.

Their arrival comes as visitor numbers rise during the Songkran holiday, when families and tourists travel across the country. The zoo has arranged a series of activities to enhance the festive atmosphere.

From April 11 to 15, activities will include merit-making events, sand pagoda displays, appearances by animal mascots, and animal sponsorship opportunities, all taking place at the main activity grounds in front of the zoological building. (NNT)
