SAMUT SAKHON, Thailand – Firefighters have brought a ground-floor blaze under control at Ban Phaeo Hospital in Samut Sakhon province as staff evacuated patients to safety. According to the rescue monitoring page Fire & Rescue Thailand, emergency dispatchers received the initial fire alert at 6:00 PM. The report stated that the flames originated on the ground floor of the Chaloem Phra Kiat Building inside the hospital complex.
Emergency teams responded by mobilizing fire engines and emergency personnel from multiple surrounding areas to battle the blaze. Responders sealed off the grounds to establish a safety perimeter, preventing danger and barring unauthorized individuals from entering the active scene. Meanwhile, hospital staff and rescue teams moved all patients out of the affected building, relocating them to secure staging locations.
At about 6:40 PM, Ban Phaeo Hospital confirmed that firefighters had successfully brought the fire under control. Administrators reported that staff had moved every patient inside the building out to safety. Following the containment operation, hospital authorities appealed to the public to keep all entrance and exit routes clear.
