The denial followed the court’s consideration of a request for the temporary release of Chinese businessman Tuhao, also known as Chaiyanat Kornchayanant who was wanted under an arrest warrant the court issued for his alleged violation of narcotic and service parlor laws.

The Bangkok South Criminal Court denied bail for a Chinese man named Tuhao to prevent him from escaping because his alleged crime is liable to heavy punishment.

The denial followed the court’s consideration of a request for the temporary release of Chinese businessman Tuhao, also known as Chaiyanat Kornchayanant who was wanted under an arrest warrant the court issued for his alleged violation of narcotic and service parlor laws.

Relatives of the Chinese suspect applied for the bail but the Bangkok South Criminal Court denied it because his case involved a large amount of narcotics which carried severe punishment and could prompt him to flee.

The suspect was then brought to the Central Correctional Institution for Drug Addicts for detention. The court approved police’s request for his first detention period of 12 days from Nov 24 to Dec 5. (TNA)
