Visitors explore imaginative Rabbit Card designs at Siam Discovery, where artists blend Thai and Australian symbols—like guardian figures and kangaroos—into vibrant works celebrating the growing cultural connection between the two countries.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Embassy of Australia in Thailand and Siam Piwat Group are hosting a Rabbit Card design exhibition in Bangkok, presenting creative works that enhance ties between the two countries.

The exhibition, held at Siam Discovery until May 17, features 35 selected entries from the third Rabbit Card Design Competition organized by the Australian Embassy. The display includes a limited-edition card based on the winning design, alongside other works that present varied interpretations of the relationship between Thailand and Australia.

Australian Ambassador to Thailand Angela Macdonald said the competition received more than 100 submissions from participants of different age groups, including young designers. Many entries incorporate symbols from both countries, reimagined in artistic styles ranging from hand-drawn illustrations to digital graphics.

The top prize was awarded to Kiadtisak Paramasin for a design combining Thai and Australian elements, including a traditional guardian figure and a kangaroo. Other winners include Karakot Chaiyont and Pison Wimonsoponkitti, who received accommodation and product prizes. Awards were presented during the opening ceremony.

Visitors can also take part in interactive activities during the exhibition period, including a design challenge with weekly prizes. Promotional offers are available through digital platforms and on-site participation, with the exhibition taking place across two locations within Siam Discovery during its run. (NNT)
