BANGKOK, Thailand – The Embassy of Italy in Bangkok, in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Siam Paragon, and NEXTOPIA, is hosting a coffee exhibition in Bangkok to showcase cultural connections between Italy and Thailand.
The event, titled “NEXTOPIA Local Harvest Coffee Fest 2026: Sip of Italy,” is being held at Siam Paragon, presenting a blend of Italian coffee traditions and Thai community influences. Organizers said the program also promotes sustainability through environmental, social, and governance concepts.
Italian Ambassador to Thailand Paolo Dionisi presided over the opening ceremony of the event, detailing its role in supporting the coffee community and in sharing Italian cultural traditions with local audiences. The exhibition includes displays tracing the history of coffee through espresso machines, as well as educational sessions featuring experts discussing industry trends and practices.
Visitors can explore a range of activities, including collaborative menus created by Italian and Thai chefs, a market featuring locally sourced coffee beans, and retail zones offering environmentally friendly products. Family-oriented workshops and interactive sessions are also available during the event.
The exhibition, held at NEXTOPIA on the fifth floor of Siam Paragon until May 12, is expected to support local producers, raise awareness of sustainable consumption, and enhance cultural connections between the two countries. (NNT)
