PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya has become a shopping destination for nine days with the opening of the “One Stop Shopping Expo @ Pattaya,” bringing three major trade fairs together under one roof with discounts of up to 80%.
Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, Union Pan Exhibitions Managing Director Weeradet Jitsakdanont and TCEB marketing representative Rattanachai Suthidechanai officially opened the event on Sept 12 at the Eastern National Sports Training Center on Chaiyapruek 2 Road. Running from Sept 12–20, the expo brings together Furniture Expo @ Pattaya, Fashion Jewelry & Beauty Expo @ Pattaya and Food Expo @ Pattaya, giving residents and tourists a wide range of products and food in one location.
Furniture Expo features bedroom, living room and dining room sets, along with household products from major manufacturers and exporters, with promotions offering discounts of up to 40–80%.
Fashion Jewelry & Beauty Expo offers clothing, jewellery, diamonds and fashion and beauty products, also with discounts of up to 40–80%.
Food Expo brings together restaurants and food vendors from different parts of Thailand, offering savoury dishes, desserts, snacks and processed products for visitors to taste and buy. Organisers said Pattaya was selected because of its importance as an economic and tourism centre of the Eastern region, as well as the strong response to previous events held in the city.
The expo also features special promotions, entertainment and surprise activities. Organisers expect more than 100 million baht in spending during the event and hope it will help stimulate purchasing power and the regional economy. The One Stop Shopping Expo @ Pattaya runs daily from Sept 12–20 at the Eastern National Sports Training Center on Chaiyapruek 2 Road.
