Pattaya celebrity chef serves gourmet hamburgers for Father Ray kids

Celebrity chef Harlan Goldstein serves his prized gourmet hamburgers to the delighted children at Father Ray Foundation.

Celebrity chef Harlan Goldstein offered kids from the Father Ray Children’s Village a preview of his new restaurant with a charity lunch.

Goldstein, who won two Michelin stars while working in Hong Kong, prepared gourmet hamburgers and cake for 118 kids and 32 staff members at the village on Siam Country Club Road Oct. 26.

The American expat came to Pattaya in 2018 to open Comfort by Harlan, an international comfort-food restaurant, only to see it close during the coronavirus pandemic. It’s now being renovated into a new concept.

The Father Ray Children’s Village cares for disadvantaged kids ages 2-18 and provides them basic education.

Harlan Goldstein gives a t-shirt bearing his name to every child at the Father Ray Foundation.

The children say a big thank you to Harlan Goldstein and his team for giving them a most enjoyable afternoon of hamburgers and lots of fun.
