A popular Loma Charity Run returns for the first time in three years Sept. 25 in Jomtien Beach.
Pattaya Deputy Mayor announced the event Aug. 23, saying proceeds from the charity run will go to the Human Help Network Thailand Foundation and to pay for medical equipment for area hospitals.
The event previously was organized by the YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center, but was suspended after 2019.
A 21-kilometer half-marathon, the Loma Run departs at 5 a.m., stretches from the Dongtan Beach police box to Jomtien Second Road and passing the Pattaya Tiger Park, Matchanu intersection, Jomtien Beach Road and Summer House Pattaya.
The 10 km run will depart at 5:45 a.m. A five-kilometer run will begin at 6 a.m. The shorter races will be run along Jomtien Beach Road.
