THAI to begin direct flights to Brussels on 17 Nov

BANGKOK, 28 June 2011 – Thai Airways International (THAI) is set to operate its new route from Bangkok to Brussels, Belgium from 17 November onwards while customers can start making their reservations on 1 July. 

THAI’s Executive Vice President for Commercial Affairs Pandit Chanapai announced that the national flag carrier would launch its Bangkok-Brussels route on 17 November to accommodate the growing number of travelers. The new addition will provide more convenience for people heading to Belgium and nearby countries, such as the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France, as well as those coming to Thailand, Southeast Asia and Australia.

Brussels is the 72nd destination of THAI while the airline is the first in the Southeast Asian region to fly to the Belgian capital. The Bangkok-Brussels flight is scheduled to take off every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Ticket reservation will be available for passengers from 1 July onwards.
