Pattaya will close roads for three hours and open 25 parking lots for mourners attending the city’s mirror royal cremation ceremony at Chaimongkol Temple.
Road closures will begin at 9 a.m. Oct. 26 to allow mourners to pay respects and lay artificial flowers on Banglamung District’s scale replica of the huge funeral pyre in Bangkok.
South Road from Sukhumvit Road to the Communications Center junction will allow inbound traffic only and no parking anywhere. All traffic will be blocked on South Road from the Communications Center to the temple.

All of Soi Buakhao from South Road to the Grand Hall Market will be blocked and one-way inbound traffic allowed between the market and Central Road.
