The Provincial Waterworks Authority improved water flow for Third Road-area residents by replacing small water mains.
Workers began Nov. 18 near the Vespa motorbike dealership and moved northward over the next three days, digging up the old pipes and laying new ones.
Pipes in the area are now 20-centimenters wide and should provide better water flow for area homes and businesses, the PWA said.
