A Belgian ex-policeman was thrown in the drunk tank after being caught stealing employee tips at a Soi 8 bar then resisting arrest.
Pisan Priksachart, 32, manager of Lucky Star Bar, called authorities Jan. 5 after a visibly drunk Jos De Sinet, 50, was caught on security cameras taking 800 baht in tips meant for the house band.
Brought to Pattaya Police Station for questioning, the Belgian began screaming and allegedly tried to throw the bar manager and a police officer out a second-floor window.
Subdued by additional police, De Sinet was tossed into a cell to sleep off his bender.
Extra police rush in to help subdue the drunken Belgian.
