Children from the Young Children Development Centre in
Soi Khopai under the care of Sukanya Seaton, chairperson of the Seaton
Foundation, were treated to a movie titled ‘Happy Feet Two’ recently. The
outing was sponsored by Michael Delargy, GM of the Sheraton Pattaya Hotel.
The kids also enjoyed delicious snacks and drinks hosted by the hotel.

Karl Morsbach (6th left), Chairman and Founder of Baan
Gerda Project recently received a donation cheque for 1.4 million baht from
Pierre Andre Pelletier (3rd left), GM of the Amari Watergate Bangkok
and Matthias Pfalz (8th left), President of BMW (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The
Funds were part of the 3.3 million baht raised from “The 14th Amari
Watergate & BMW Group Thailand Midnight Run” and “The 15th Aerobic Marathon
on AIDS” to support the HIV orphanage in Lopburi Province. The 1.4 million
baht will be donated through HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to support
the Chalerm Prakiat School in Lumpoon province and the other 500,000 baht
already donated to support Baht for a Better Life Project.

Holiday Inn Pattaya Sales & Marketing Department
recently visited Pattaya Orphanage to donate necessities such as cooking
ingredients and baby products to the institute as part of their commitment
to support and care for local community needs.

Lorena Paso (left) presents Max Rommel with a lovely
birthday cake in commemoration of his birthday recently. Friends from the
Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya attended the celebrations to wish him
many happy returns.

Harald Feurstein, GM of the Hilton Pattaya marked
the hotel’s second annual participation in Earth Hour, making it one of the
many international hotel chains in Pattaya to make a global statement with a
voluntary hour of darkness. The staff and management team all joined
together for a memorable and fun experience to switch off the lights of the
hotel. Activities included turning off exterior signage lighting; dimming
non-essential interior lighting; using candlelight in appropriate public
areas such as restaurants and bars, switching off equipment in all offices
and some areas in the kitchen.

Siam Technology College, Thai-ITOH College and Centara
Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya recently signed an MOU to assist each
other to increase levels of education for Hotel and Tourism majors to
international standards. Holding the MOU are (L to R) Chitsanupon
