Kellogg’s Thailand donated 1,210 boxes of chocolate-flavored “Coco Balls” cereal to two area charities to provide breakfasts to underprivileged children. Each box contains at least 72 individual servings of the cereal.

Father Dr. Michael Pichan Jaiseri, president of the Father Ray Foundation, and Supakorn Noja, director of the Child Welfare and Protection Center, accepted the donation valued at more than 243,000 baht Jan. 7 at the Diana Garden Resort.

Father Dr. Pichan said the Father Ray group had solicited the donation as part of its “SOS Rice Project” as a way to help children under its care. The foundation received 1,110 boxes of Coco Balls.

The CWPC, which aids street children, also received a healthy donation of rice from Diana Group Managing Director Sopin Thappajug. The center received 100 boxes of Coco Balls from Kellogg’s.
