Two generations of entertainers will highlight a “For Love - For Children” charity concert January 21, with proceeds going to schools, shelters and social care centers.

The charity concert will be held at the Diana Garden Resort’s Jakthep Piman Convention Center on January 21, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the show will go to provide scholarships for children at Banglamung School, support the efforts of the Street Children Project at the Child Welfare Foundation, the Y.W.C.A. Bangkok-Pattaya Center and the Diana Group’s “Dharma on Time” to promote the study and practice of high morals through religion to the general public.

Sopin Thappajug, MD of the Diana Group.

Sopin Tappajug Diana Group Managing Director said in her speech, that in the past years the Diana Group along with their strategic partners, City Life FM 93.75 radio and the Pattaya Mail Media Group have jointly organized the Diana Gold Charity Golf tournament to raise funds for the benefit of underprivileged children. “With the help of businesses and service organizations we have been very successful and hundreds of children have benefited from your kindness.”

Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh.

She went on to say, “But this year we have decided to stage a charity concert instead. The reason and purpose is to promote and instill the love of music, sports and high ethical and moral standards into the hearts and minds of young people.”

Peter Malhotra added, “I have lived in Pattaya for more than 35 years and in all those years, I have seen many bad incidents that involve children. The authorities can only do so much in trying to protect our children. Khun Sopin has taken the bull by the horns and brought these incidents of child abuse and neglect to the attention of both the public and private sector, who have implemented campaigns to protect and care for our children and enforced laws to punish the wrongdoers. I commend her for her brave efforts and we must support her in every which way we can in this noble cause.

Please do attend this charity concert. Do it For Love and For Children”

Tickets are 1,500 baht each or 6000 baht for a table of 4. Dinner and refreshments are included.
