Buddhist disciples from all walks of life, including Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome, gratefully pay respect to Pra Buddha Panya Pattanaporn, chief abbot of Phothisamphan Temple on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.

Dusit Thani Pattaya, led by its General Manager Chatchawal Supachayanont (centre), marked Earth Day 2010 on Thursday April 22 with activities that included cleaning up operations both on the beach and in the streets. The five-star resort commemorates the occasion each year with a related project to show its support to the preservation of a clean environment. One hundred and fifty Filipino members of the Bangkok chapters of Couples for Christ Thailand, represented by JR Pandaan, chapter leader of Central Bangkok, and Art Roa, chapter leader of North Bangkok visited the Fr. Ray Foundation in Pattaya to present a cash donation of 90,500 baht to Fr. Peter Srivorakul and Fr. Worawut Saraphan of the Fr. Ray Foundation. The guests also visited the Fr. Ray Children’s Home, Fr. Ray Children’s Village and the Pattaya School for the Blind where they enjoyed lunch with the children and students.
