There will be a special talk by German psychotherapist Barbara Barkemeyer at
the North Star Library on Wednesday May 26 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The talk and discussion will be on the subject of “Spiritual and Practical
Principles”. The North Star Library is located on Sukhumvit Road between

The Charity Club of Pattaya will be holding a
Charity Gala Dinner with a grand prize draw & auction on Saturday June 5

Clubs and Associations
The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC)
will be on Sunday, May 23 and everyone is warmly welcome. The Club has been
meeting in temporary locations while the Club awaits the Amari’s completion
of the renovations to the regular meeting location at Henry J. Bean’s Bar
and Grill (to be reopened as The Tavern). During this period, the location
of the meeting and directions are posted on the Club’s website www.pattaya
cityexpatsclub.com. The program will start as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a
buffet breakfast available from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Each week the PCEC usually
has an interesting speaker to talk on various subjects of interest in an
informal setting. This week, the speaker will be Pascalle from the Nutrition
Club talking about bio-nutrition. The talk will be followed by the ever
lively and often humorous Open Forum where questions are asked and answers
given about living in Pattaya as well as an update on events in and around

For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand
have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the
telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates
24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate
community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will
provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the
phone. All calls will be handled on an anonymous basis and are free of
