loser when the mood takes him. After five years of the annual Good Guys vs.
Bad Guys Golf Tournament it is two games to the Good Guys and two to the Bad
Guys with this year’s game going down to the last hole which the Bad Guys
miraculously won to draw level. Oh well there is always next year. The Cup
has been renamed the Amaretto Cup.
Karl Morsbach (6th left), chairman and
founder of Baan Gerda Project recently received a donation cheque for 1.8
million baht from Pierre Andre Pelletier (4th left),
general manager of the Amari Watergate Bangkok. The Funds were part
of the 3.7 million baht raised at the ‘12th Amari
Watergate & BMW Thailand Midnight Run’ and the ‘13th
Aerobic Marathon on AIDS’ to support HIV infected orphans in Lopburi
Province. The Other 1.9 million baht will be donated through HRH Princess
Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to support Chalerm Prakiat School in Lamphun
province.
Tropical Bert’s had a shock on Friday when the
volunteer staff from the Father Ray Foundation, who had heard of his Fish n
Chips and Burgers, descended on him. Not only did they all enjoy their meals
but also a 10% discount that Bert gave them for the outstanding work they
all do. Bert said he looks forward to seeing them more often.
