The Whiffenpoofs, 14 young men from Yale University, will return to Bangkok next month to entertain audiences at Siam City Hotel’s Rattanakosin Lounge with their unique a cappella versions of songs from Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Bob Marley.


 

Students from Burapha University, led by Acting Assistant Dean Kritta-orn Chewwasung (sixth from right) visited Dusit Thani Pattaya for a familiarization trip and to check out the five-star resort hotel’s outlets and facilities as well as participate in a mini-session on proper service etiquette for dining guests.


Swiss couple Mrs. and Mr. Weiss (left) recently celebrated their Pearl Wedding Anniversary (30 years of marriage) with friends at Casa Pascal. As usual on such an occasion, restaurant owner Pascal Schnyder surprised his guests with a gift.


The Pattaya International Ladies Club recently held their monthly luncheon at the Amari Hotel, where this time members and guests were enchanted by hypnotist guest speaker Bruce Quinby.


Bangkok Japanese team members celebrate their victory at the tenth edition of the Chris Kays Memorial 10’s Rugby Tournament, held recently at Horse Shoe Point Pattaya. In the final, they held off the scholars from Shrewsbury School to a not so expected 7-0 defeat.
