Tourists flock to Five
Regions Tourism Festival

Tens of thousands of tourists flocked to the Beach
Road promenade in Pattaya last weekend for the annual Five Regions Tourism
Festival. Stages were set up for traditional performances from the 5 regions,
such as the one shown here, whilst booths selling everything from trinkets to
food and beverages lined the promenade all the way from the Dusit Curve to South
Pattaya. Officials have deemed the event a success and are already planning for

A meeting was held at the Woodlands Residence Suites recently to explore
ways of raising funds to complete the new building at the Pattaya Blind
School, the construction of which has begun but had to be slowed down due to
budget constraints.

If only Mike Franklin could see Em now! Em was a favorite of Mike’s
and for the rest of us, as he was our star pupil determined to achieve
greatness. Em followed through recently when he graduated with a bachelor’s
degree in engineering from Technology Rachamongkul in Nakon Pathom.

Anniversary of one of Pattaya City’s hottest, most chic and dynamic spots,
the Mantra Restaurant & Bar. The management team of Amari Orchid
Resort & Tower, Pattaya, led by General Manager David Cumming (4th left),
welcomed the crowd to Pattaya’s most spectacular dinner party event of the
year.
