Environment, presided at the seminar ASEAN-WEN “A Forgotten Crisis:
Arresting Wildlife Depletion in Asia through Strengthened Regional
Cooperation and Effective Partnerships,” organized by Freeland (PuenPa)
Foundation for Human Rights and Wildlife. The seminar was held at the
Cattleya Ballroom in the Montien Hotel, Pattaya. The minister was
warmly welcomed by Prayuth Thamdhum (2nd left), general manager of the
hotel.
Jameson’s football captain and coach, Brian Abbott and Paul
Dobbs on left, met with friends at Jameson’s Irish Pub to cheer for
their favorite premier league team, Middleborough in their home game against
Fulham.

United States Air Force personnel stationed in Kadena, Japan
took time out from their holiday in Pattaya to visit the Good Shepard
Foundation. On behalf of a larger group, three airmen donated a digital
video camera, school supplies, food and beverages to the Foundation. Sister
Joan received the donations with much appreciation, and later took the group

Dr. Sunya Viravaidya (left), Chairman & CEO of Pattaya
International Hospital, and Prof. Graham Brown, Director of the Nossal
Institute of Global Health, University of Melbourne, both were fellow
students at the Melbourne University of Medicine. Prof Brown visited the PIH
for an update on the development and expansion of the hospital.
