Eberhard is visiting Thailand on behalf of Rotary International President Dong Kurn Lee as guests of Rotary DG Peter Malhotra. Rotary International will hold its 103rd Annual Convention in Thailand in 2012 and upwards of 25,000 delegates are expected to visit Thailand in May of that year.


 

Vice Admiral Suwit Thararoop (right) of the Royal Thai Navy welcomes Lt. Gen. Keith Stalder (left), Commander of US Marine Forces Pacific on his arrival at Dusit Thani Pattaya for a private dinner. Lt. Gen. Stalder was in Thailand for discussions with the Royal Thai Navy and Armed Forces on topics ranging from training and exercise, participation in Cobra Gold, to support for humanitarian operations.


Jameson’s Pattaya Angels football team returned victorious from the Manila Football 7’s, then celebrated in the most famous of sporting locations: Jameson’s The Irish Pub. The team earned their trophy for a penalty shootout at the competition. The Jameson’s Pattaya Angels also held the record for being involved with a clean sheet in every game they played. Seen here holding the magnificent trophy is the Jameson’s football captain, and top tournament goal scorer for Jameson’s Brian Abbott, with David Dobbs his trustee sidekick Captain Steve Ponter (social secretary) and the Jameson’s cheerleaders.


Michael Tan (holding the cake) celebrated his birthday at Mantra Restaurant where Super Chef did a wonderful job and GM David Cummings kept the place lively by going round introducing himself to the diners. The man holding up the cake is the famous artist Wilson Koh.


Suriyon ‘Dieaw OIC’ Arunwattanakul (center) is not only a famous host of a TV show, but was also granted special mission to take 5 beautiful cheerleaders from Chulalongkorn University to shoot a fashion set for Seventeen Magazine at Ravindra Beach Resort and Spa.


The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya recently organized a ‘Grease Gang Dinner’ party with a 70s theme, led by George Hazard, general manager. The night starts with an appetizer from the Hard Rock Cafe and Grease Dance Show from the Rock Agents followed by a full course dinner and desert Hard Rock style.
