China’s Lieutenant General Ma Xiao Tian, deputy chief of staff of People’s Liberation Army recently stayed at Dusit Thani Pattaya where he was warmly welcomed by the hotel management. The Chinese official was in Thailand upon invitation from the Ministry of Defense. Chitra Chandrasiri recently celebrated her birthday at her residence at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort. Her husband Ranjith was on hand to make sure that the ladies had enough wine to drink, while Walter Thenisch supervised the entire delicious lunch buffet. Ib and Kannikar Ottesen, owners of the Jomtien Boathouse, hand over a fixed account bankbook with the amount of 250,000 baht to Gunida Pajamtee, daughter of the late Elvis Ballard while her mother looks on. The money was raised from a charity concert held at Jomtien Boathouse, and money collected from www.elvisballard.com and is to be used for Gunida’s continuing education.


The international team from Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, led by Neera Sirisampan (back row 3rd left), recently attended the Mercy Center to help the carers celebrate Mother’s Day with the children at the center. Even though the children were without their birth mothers, everyone could feel the warmth and love that is being given to these underprivileged children and the children responded with laughter and impromptu kisses.
