Mercure Hotel, Pattaya Executive Assistant Manager, Khun Vorachai was recently on hand to receive an award from the Banglamung Vocational College in respect of the hotel’s efforts towards the “Safe Riding For Thai Youth” campaign.


Thai singer Puu from the group Blackhead was a recent visitor to the Mantra Restaurant & Bar where he was given a warm reception by the Mantra management team. Mr. Chatchawal Supachayanont, general manager of Dusit Resort, Pattaya recently gave superstar violinist Vanessa Mae a warm reception at the resort. The crossover artist who has achieved worldwide fame for her fusion classical and pop music stayed at the 462-room resort for an extended holiday during her hiatus from concert tours and recording.


The Dusit Resort, Pattaya recently held its annual staff party in the resort’s Napalai Ballroom with the theme for this year’s event being labeled “Hip Hop Night.” All who attended thoroughly enjoyed the evening, including some invited hotel guests who were also seen to let their hair down.


The Montien Hotel was pleased to welcome a group of Russian visitors from the I.Y.O. Service Co. Ltd who were here on an educational trip to inspect the hotel. Front Office Manager, Surasak Pipopsirirat was happy to give them all a guided tour of the Montien’s facilities.


The Royal Palace Hotel hosted a retirement party on Sept. 23 for some prominent government officers with many celebrity guests in attendance. Pictured here are Supakit Thamasathidmun, (Banglamung District Chief), right, and Chalaem Promhuab, (Deputy District Chief). Supakit is retiring from his post after many years of valuable public service in the Chonburi region.
