Somsak Tanruengsri, general manager of the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa, welcomed students from Bangkok University’s international program in Hotel and Tourism on their educational visit. The students were led by their professor, Dr. Edward Carter and were given a tour of the resort and its facilities.


Instructors and students from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Institute of Physical Education Chonburi, visited The Tide Resort Bangsaen Beach for real hands-on training in hotel management. Ms. Chayada Veatsuntri, training manager (2nd left), provided a very warm reception to the group.


Pinyo Siritan, front office manager of Town in Town Hotel Pattaya, recently welcomed a group of representatives from travel industries in the Ukraine on their visit to the hotel. They then gathered for lunch at the Kieng Talay coffee house.


Kim & Pascal at the Casa Pascal Restaurant recently welcomed Mr. & Mrs. Erismann, the Swiss Ambassador to Thailand and his wife. As honored guests they enjoyed dinner with Walter Meyer and Dr. Niti Meyer. Graeme Moore celebrated his 65th birthday at Jomtien Boathouse, attended by close friends and many well-wishers.


On his recent visit, ex Pattaya resident Michael Vogt (2nd right), MD of the Chiangmai Mail, met up with old friends Andrew Khoo (centre) and Siritorn Kraivisutsap (2nd left) at the Hard Rock Café, where a good time was had by all.
