I-TIM , the International Hotel
and Tourism Industry Management School, is now accepting applications for
the two-year diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management commencing in January
2006. Minimum entry level is M.6 or high school. All nationalities welcome.
Each year includes a five month internship with placement available in all
tourist destinations including Pattaya. Extended salaried internships

The Rotary Club Pattaya Marina (the first French
speaking Rotary Club in all Asia) changed the schedule and the venue of its

The speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting
on Sunday October 16 will be Thor Halland. Thor is a member of the
club’s governing board and has already given a number of interesting talks.
This week he will be continuing his history of Thailand and background
insights into how Siam developed into the country we know and love. As always
everyone is welcome to attend, no charge, and there is a warm welcome for
anyone just visiting Pattaya or recently moved here. The meeting starts at
10.30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9.30. There is a chance to
ask questions or share helpful information during the Open Forum time and meet
and chat with other expats before and after the meeting. Meetings held in

The Pattaya Gay Festival will be holding its next
dinner at Casa Pascal Restaurant off Pattaya Second Road opposite Royal
Garden Plaza on the revised date of Monday October 24. Tickets

1,200 baht with 300 baht going to HEARTT2000 to help Dr. Philippe in his work
to provide life-saving drugs to the many HIV/AIDS patients unable to afford
