Calling All Vendors! The Pattaya International Ladies Club will be the host for a big Holiday Bazaar at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort on October 8. The speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club this Sunday, August 14, will be Thor Halland, who will continue his exposition of the history and development of Thailand. Thor is a member of the Governing Board of the PCEC and has already shown himself to be a mine of interesting and insightful information about the early days of Siam. The second speaker will be Gregory Barton, sponsor of the Lulu and Daisy Dairy Goat Farm in Pattaya who will present a picture show of the goat farm, discuss his interest in producing goat cheese, and the benefits of goat cheese. He will bring samples of his goat cheeses, including goat cream cheese, to the meeting for tasting. His goat farm is notable in that it is Thai employee owned and operated under his direction - all of the proceeds of sales go to the employees. The meeting will commence as usual at 10.30 with buffet breakfast available from 9.30 a.m. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and share information on any topic during the Open Forum and there will be the usual update on forthcoming events in and around Pattaya. The meetings are freely open to everyone and take place at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort on North Pattaya Beach Road. The Pattaya International Ladies Club August coffee morning will be held at Au Bon Coin on Tuesday August 16 from 10.30 a.m. - till midday.

Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) E.S. Hamilton Post 9876 officially meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Hog’s Breath Saloon, Soi Batman.
