The Pattaya City Expats Club is pleased to announce that Jerry Hopkins, internationally renowned author, will be speaking to the club on Sunday May 29 at Henry J. Bean’s Bar and Grill in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort on North Pattaya Beach Road. Buffet breakfast available from 9.30 meeting starts at 10.30 a.m. There will be a chance to talk with the author and representatives from Asia books will be on hand with copies of some of Jerry’s books. Jerry has written many biographies of famous people including Ian Morrison, Racqel Welsh, Elvis Presley, Yoko Ono, Marilyn Monroe and our own Fr Ray Brennan. The meeting is open to everyone and there is adequate parking space in front of the restaurant.

The Rotary Club of Taksin-Pattaya and the Rotary Club of Pattaya will jointly be hold Charity Bingo night on Sunday 5 June from 6 p.m. at the Grand Sole Hotel, Second Road, Pattaya. There are some fantastic prizes to be won, including a 29" colour TV, microwave oven, refrigerator and many more electrical prizes as well as lots of small prizes to be won. Events

The Rotary Club of Taksin Pattaya will host the Installation Night of its new President and Board Members for the year 2005/2006. This will take place on Saturday, June4 at Nong Nooch Gardens. Free transport from Pattaya to the Nong Nooch Gardens and return from 6.30 p.m. The gala evening includes a Thai / European Buffet and free Beer, Wine, Whisky & Soft drinks, Shows and Entertainment for only 750 baht. The Harley Owners Groupฎ (H.O.G.) Thailand will celebrate the formation on Saturday, June 4 at the PowerStation Motor Sport, Bangkok. The Harley Owners Groupฎ (H.O.G.) is an organization founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidsonฎ Motor Company. The purpose of the local chapter shall be to promote responsible motorcycling activities for Harley Owners Group members by conducting chapter activities and encouraging participation in other H.O.G. events. The Thailand Chapter activities and operations shall be conducted in a same manner consistent with a family-oriented, non-political philosophy. The ride will leave at 10 a.m. from PowerStation and go via Chachoengsao onto the ACE Caf้ in Jomtien for lunch at 1 p.m. For the Harley Riders located in the Chonburi area, you are welcome to join for lunch and join the ride up to Bangkok for the party.
