Clubs

Pattaya City Expats Club meets on Sunday mornings at Henry J Beans Restaurant and Pub at the Amari Orchid Resort at the north end of Beach Road from 9:30-10:30 a.m. for buffet breakfast, and from 10:30-12:30 for entertaining speakers and open forum. Everyone welcome.

The Pattaya Motorcycle Club meets on Friday, at the “Old Speckled Hen” pub, Soi 9, Jomtien Beach from 8 p.m. onwards. Come along, meet new friends and enjoy “Bike Club Happy Hours” where from 8 till 10 its 10 baht off all beers and soft drinks and 15 baht off all spirits. Doing it the Scottish Way: Scottish born Chef John James Hogg, Kitchen operations manager of Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa will be presenting a Burns Supper at the Garden Caf้ at the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa on of January25 and 26, a traditional event to mark the birth of the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns. After the resounding success of the Thai Buffet on Christmas Day at the Queen Victoria Inn, they now intend to include it every Sunday, so while you tuck in to your Sunday Carvery at only 290 baht your good lady can enjoy a full Thai buffet for only 150 baht. The ‘Yuri–Kon’ duo, a combination of double bass by Konrad Oehler and piano by Yuri Shemagonov, now plays live at the Elephant Bar, Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa every evening except Sunday from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. The Elephant Bar is an ideal place to relax whilst overlooking the resort’s pool and gardens. The British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT), in Cooperation with Mbmg International, is hosting the first Networking Evening on the Eastern Seaboard on Friday January 23 from 6.30 p.m. at Shenanigans, Pattaya.
