200 business owners given basic legal education

About 200 Pattaya bar owners and business operators were given an update on
legal changes plus a basic introduction to the legal process in a seminar
organized by the city.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome opened the July 2 seminar aimed at educating
business owners on regulations, local rules and legalities.
Master Sgt. 3rd Class Kittiphon Suebma of the Region 2 Prosecutor’s Office, and
Poramet Inthrachumnum, from the Office of the Attorney General in Bangkok spoke
on legal rules and beginner’s knowledge of the legal system.
In addition to basic education on the criminal law and how laws are created,
attendees learned about recent changes in laws relating to public health,
business licenses, the environment, and negotiating with authorities.
