Tropical Storm Koguma brings heavy showers to Chiang Mai and Thailand’s northeast regions

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy showers are expected in the North and Northeast today as Tropical Storm Koguma moves closer towards Vietnam.

As of 4am yesterday, the tropical storm – packing maximum sustained winds of about 65 kilometres per hour – was centered over Tonkin Bay in Vietnam. It was expected to make landfall today. (NNT)


These provinces in North and Northeast regions of Thailand are warned of heavy rains and flash floods during the hit of Tropical Storm Koguma.


Heavy showers are expected in the North and Northeast regions of Thailand today and tomorrow.
