Thailand records 238 deaths in road accidents during Songkran holidays

Chiang Mai reports highest number of death at 9 persons while most of the road accidents nationwide involved motorcycles.

According to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, during the Songkran holidays – April 10 to 15 – 238 people have been killed and 2,116 injured in 2,113 road accidents. (NNT)
