BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister’s Office Minister Paradorn Prissananantakul chaired the first meeting of the Coordination Center for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The meeting on October 29 was held at the Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office, involving key representatives from state agencies to organize and oversee the national-level preparations.
The Coordination Center was established by order of the Ceremonial Steering Committee on October 26 and functions as the government’s central unit for directing collaboration among public agencies, private entities, and security forces. Its scope covers venue management, public services, traffic control, medical support, and logistics, all carried out to ensure the ceremony proceeds with full honor and order.
The meeting reviewed the operational readiness of each sector involved, ensuring that activities align with protocols and traditions. With oversight from the Ceremonial Steering Committee, led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, all participating bodies are working under one framework to manage the ceremony with precision and respect.
Liaison officers from each participating agency were assigned to maintain coordination and share timely updates with the central center. This setup supports unified communication and smooth execution of plans at all levels throughout the event.
