BANGKOK, Thailand – The Kind Angels Association and its international partners have successfully concluded “The Starlight Charity Concert” at the Bangkok Planetarium, marking a triumphant finale to the “Music as a Safe Space” project aimed at healing and uplifting underprivileged children. A major highlight of the August 2 event was the extraordinary collaborative performance between the Thai Youth Orchestra, operating under the Department of Cultural Promotion, and world-class Japanese artists. The concert featured spectacular showcases by renowned musical actress Hanayo Kimura, celebrated for her roles in ‘Cats’ and ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, alongside accomplished pianist Hiroko Miyano and leading professional singer Yukako Niizuma.
Following intensive joint rehearsals that began on July 30, the concert provided a critical international stage for Thai youth to demonstrate their musical potential. Guided by the philosophy that talent requires a platform to truly shine, the event successfully utilized music therapy to alleviate sorrow, heal emotional wounds, and restore smiles to vulnerable youth facing life’s hardships. Operating since 2014, the Kind Angels Association organized the successful concert in partnership with the Tambun Project from Japan, MAST Human, and the Place of Grace Foundation. The event serves as a significant milestone in fostering international collaboration to sustainably inspire, create opportunities, and elevate the capabilities of Thai youth on the global stage.
