BANGKOK, 22 March 2015  – Miss Kanitta Kanjanarangsrinon, Deputy Director of the Thai Women’s Empowerment Fund, is satisfied with the performance of the funds’ networks at local, provincial and regional levels.

She expressed satisfaction after she attended several workshops held in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Nakhon Nayok and Kalasin, in connection with a survey of the fund’s management. The last workshop will take place in the mid-north of Thailand in Nakhon Sawan between Mar 29-31.

She said all of the workshops were successful as a venue for members of the women’s network to share experiences, problems and solutions, resulting in better mutual understanding among them and more confidence in moving the missions forward on the same track.

After the four observations have been done, the results will be summarized and revised by a national committee in order to improve the fund’s regulations and practices before it is transferred from the Secretariat of the Prime Minister to be under the supervision of the Community Development Department, in the Interior Ministry.

On 24th-25th March, nationwide provincial staff of the Community Development Department will be asked for further efforts on the fund’s management.
