BANGKOK, Thailand – The remains of Thai travel content creator Bowornthat Pengsuk, also known as “Hlun Solo,” have arrived in Thailand after being repatriated from Georgia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) assigned a representative to receive the remains on behalf of the ministry.
The MFA said Bowornthat passed away in Tbilisi on July 14. Since learning of the case, the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara has worked with his family, Georgian authorities, and other relevant agencies to coordinate the return of his remains.
The embassy also dispatched officials to Georgia to coordinate with local authorities on the investigation into the cause of death, the repatriation process, and the reasons for delays in returning the remains to Thailand. Bowornthat’s family will arrange a forensic examination before taking his remains to his hometown in Somdet district, Kalasin province, where religious rites will be held. (NNT)
