Thai Army reports Cambodian rocket fire in Buri Ram, reaffirms commitment to sovereignty

BANGKOK, Thailand – The 2nd Army Area reported that on 8 December 2025 at 8:30 a.m., Cambodian forces fired BM-21 rockets toward Thai civilian areas in Ban Sai Tho 10, Ban Kruat District, Buri Ram Province. No injuries or casualties have been reported at this time.

The situation around Chong Ang Ma, Hill 677, Huai Ta Maria, and the Prasat Ta Muen area remains active, with ongoing engagements. The Thai Army stated that further updates will be provided as the situation develops.

The 2nd Army Area reaffirmed its firm commitment to defending Thailand’s sovereignty to the fullest extent. (NNT)
