State Railway of Thailand adds a temporary station, extra air-conditioned carriages and four daily train stops to bring visitors closer to the international horticultural exhibition.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is preparing rail services and facilities for visitors to the Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026, which will take place from November 1, 2026, to March 14, 2027, at Nong Dae Wetland in Mueang Udon Thani District.

SRT Governor Anan Phonimdaeng announced a temporary stop, the Udon Thani Horticultural Expo Halt, with a 100-meter platform and two level crossings connecting both sides of the exhibition grounds. Additional enhancements include new signage, improved passenger facilities, and staff to ensure safe and convenient access.

Four train services will stop at the temporary halt in both directions:

– Train 75: Krung Thep Aphiwat–Nong Khai, arriving at 5:04 p.m.
– Train 415: Nakhon Ratchasima–Nong Khai, arriving at 11:28 a.m.
– Train 76: Nong Khai–Krung Thep Aphiwat, arriving at 6:59 a.m.
– Train 418: Nong Khai–Nakhon Ratchasima, arriving at 1:31 p.m.

SRT will add an additional air-conditioned carriage to local trains 415 and 418 for the duration of the exhibition. Visitors can also take Special Express Train 25 or Rapid Train 133 to Udon Thani Railway Station and transfer to local public transportation. SRT expects these arrangements will improve accessibility, encourage rail travel, and support tourism and the local economy in northeastern Thailand. Tickets and reservations are available through the D-Ticket system or at railway stations nationwide. Passengers can check train status via SRT Train Tracking or call the 24-hour hotline at 1690.
