PM Anutin joins The Palace Band for Mother’s Day performance

BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul took the stage on August 12 for a special performance during National Mother’s Day celebrations at the “Silapacheep Prateep Thai OTOP: United in Hearts Through Royal Grace 2026” fair at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi province. Accompanied by his spouse, Thananon Charnvirakul, chairperson of the Cabinet Spouses Committee and honorary adviser to the Interior Ministry Ladies’ Association, Anutin also visited participating entrepreneurs and met members of the public. He later joined The Palace band on the central stage at Challenger 2 Hall as a guest performer, singing a number of popular Thai songs.



More than 5,000 people attended the fair during the day, including families celebrating National Mother’s Day. Audience members sang, danced, and joined in traditional Thai dance during the performance, while visitors shopped across exhibition and retail areas featuring OTOP products and other community-made goods. The nine-day fair, running from August 8 through 16, recorded more than 310.5 million baht in sales during its first four days. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Challenger Halls 1 to 3, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center. (NNT)
