BANGKOK, Thailand – The Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) Region 4 Forward Command has dismissed social media claims that police officers were taken into custody for questioning, calling the reports false and confirming that no officers have been detained. The command said military and police agencies continue to coordinate closely in the southern border provinces through regular meetings, intelligence sharing, and joint operations to support the investigation and judicial process. It added that such coordination is standard practice following major incidents in the region.
ISOC Region 4 Forward Command warned that creating or sharing false information can mislead the public, disrupt the work of authorities, and may result in legal action if it causes harm to individuals, government agencies, or public order. The command urged the public to verify information through official government agencies or other reliable sources before sharing it. The unit affirmed that military and police personnel will continue carrying out their duties together under the rule of law while protecting lives and property and maintaining peace and security in the southern border provinces.
