
BANGKOK, Thailand – Domestic gold prices increased by 200 baht on Saturday, July 11, with gold bars selling at 65,000 baht per baht-weight following a single price announcement at 9am.
According to the Gold Traders Association, the buying and selling prices for 96.5% purity gold were:
- Gold bars: Selling at 65,000 baht per baht-weight and buying at 64,800 baht per baht-weight
- Gold ornaments: Selling at 65,800 baht per baht-weight, with a base tax value of 63,505.24 baht per baht-weight
The global gold spot price stood at 4,120 US dollars per ounce.
The Thai baht was trading at 33.31 baht per US dollar.
The increase followed stronger gold prices in international markets, with investors continuing to monitor global economic conditions and currency movements.
