Bangkok’s outdoor theater festival scheduled for July

Bangkok governor Chadchart Sittipunt discussed the project with representatives of partners yesterday (June 29) as it was intended to boost the economy and entertain people in addition to music at public parks.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and partners will organize outdoor theaters next month for economic stimulation and people’s happiness.

Screening will happen throughout Bangkok in response to the Film Festival. Twenty-five movies will be screened and carefully selected to suit local contexts and families of viewers.

The screening will start on July 7 with “Dang Bireley’s and Young Gangsters” at the square in front of City Hall in Phra Nakhon district and “Bangkok Traffic Love Story (2009)” at the True Digital Park in Phra Khanong district.



On July 14 there will be “RRR (2565)” at the Klong Toey Youth Center in Klong Toey district and “4 Kings (2564)” at the Rod Fai Park in Chatuchak district.

On July 21 “Citizen Dog” will be screened at the Benjakitti Park in Klong Toey district and “Fast and Furious” at the Bang Khae Phirom market in Bang Khae district. (TNA)
