
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park) will screen the Indian film Laapataa Ladies (The Lost Ladies) as the second feature in its 2026 Contemporary World Film Series, continuing its presentation of international cinema. Directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan, the film follows two brides who are accidentally switched during a journey and end up with the wrong families. The story combines humor with social commentary, exploring identity, independence, and tradition through the contrasting paths of the two women.
The screening will take place on Sunday, May 24, at 4:00 p.m. at TK Park, located on the 8th floor of CentralWorld, Dazzle Zone, Ratchadamri Road, Bangkok. The auditorium will open at 3:30 p.m. The film will be presented in its original language with English subtitles.
