Anutin begins southern border tour with visits to Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is visiting Thailand’s southern border provinces to review security, development and cross-border trade measures, including an inspection of the Bukit Bunga–Ban Buketa crossing in Narathiwat.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has arrived in Narathiwat province to begin an official inspection tour of Thailand’s southern border region, during which he will meet with security and development agencies to review conditions and advance government policy.

Upon his arrival, Anutin traveled by helicopter to Yala province to conduct field inspections and provide policy guidance on addressing regional challenges. The visit includes discussions with agencies at the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center and coordination with local and security officials.



The prime minister is also scheduled to chair meetings at the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Forward Command in Pattani, where authorities will assess the situation and review ongoing operations. The engagements are intended to strengthen coordination among agencies and support effective implementation of government measures.

Later in the day, Anutin is expected to visit Waeng district in Narathiwat to inspect the Bukit Bunga–Ban Buketa border crossing, where measures related to cross-border trade and tourism are under review. (NNT)
