CHONBURI, Thailand – Motorists heading to Bang Saen Beach faced a lengthy traffic queue near Burapha University in Chonburi at around 4 p.m. on Friday, October 23, as holiday traffic built up on the road leading to the popular seaside destination.
A local traffic update reported that vehicles were queuing back from the traffic lights in front of Burapha University, with the line of traffic stretching considerably along the route towards the beach.
Bang Saen remains a favorite seaside getaway for Thai holidaymakers, drawing crowds to its beachfront restaurants, food stalls and coastal attractions. With the October 23–25 holiday break bringing more people onto the roads, congestion can build quickly on routes leading into the beach area.
Drivers planning to visit were advised to check traffic conditions before setting off and allow extra travel time. For anyone heading towards Bang Saen, it may be worth thinking twice before joining the queue and checking the latest road situation first.
