BANGKOK, July 2015 – The National Broadcasting Telecommunication Commission (NBTC) has instructed digital TV service providers to finish integrating their digital TV broadcasting systems on time.

NBTC committee member Supinya Klangnarong has joined a meeting with all service providers, which include Mass Communication Organization of Thailand, Thai PBS, the Royal Thai Army and the Public Relations Department. The meeting briefed all parties on the progress of their digital broadcasting systems.

The NBTC committee member has said that the digital TV signal distribution has been successful, but some households have experienced disruptions due to incorrect installations.

More digital TV stations are expected to be established this month. There will be a total of 39 stations by the end of next year.
