Tuesday, Dec. 4, Pattavia – Stableford
On Tuesday the group went Pattavia on a nice day, slightly clouded with a cool breeze. The course was in excellent condition with good, but difficult greens.
The scores were not outlandish and it made for a close finish. Willem Lasonder was the winner with 35 stableford points, just one ahead of Jonathan Pratt in second, who beat Andy Nesbitt on count-back.
Near pins went to Tim Holland, Dave Smith and Willem Lasonder.
Thursday, Dec. 7, Plutaluang – Stableford
We went to Pluataluang on Thursday and played the East and South courses. The condition of the greens on the East course was disappointing and we were happy that the back nine greens were much better.
We had one exceptional score today coming from Owen Walkley, who had not played with us for long time. Today he rolled up with an amazing 45 points for first place, seven ahead of Jonathan Pratt who again had to settle for the silver. In third was Brett Gale with 37 points, beating Sam Gettinby on the count-back.
Near pins were claimed by Owen Walkley, Brett Gale and Jonathan Pratt.
