A late-night fight involving Thai and foreign groups broke out across multiple locations in Pattaya before ending in Soi VC, leaving one foreign man injured with a head wound as police investigate.

PATTAYA, Thailand – A late-night altercation between Thai and foreign nationals escalated into a multi-location chase and street fight in Pattaya, ending with one foreign man injured and taken to hospital, police said. At around 04:00 on June 20, officers from Pattaya City Police Station were alerted to a violent confrontation in Soi VC, South Pattaya. Police units rushed to the scene to find several groups of Thai and foreign men in a tense standoff.



At the incident scene, officers found that a foreign man had suffered a head injury. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting him to hospital for treatment. According to preliminary information, the incident reportedly began with a verbal dispute in the Pratumnak Road area. The situation then escalated as the groups chased each other across several locations in the vicinity before the confrontation reignited in Soi VC, where the violence resulted in injury.


Police separated the parties and began collecting statements from those involved at the scene. Investigators also reviewed initial evidence and are in the process of examining CCTV footage along the route of the incident to establish a clear sequence of events. Authorities said they are currently tracking down all individuals believed to be involved in the altercation for further questioning and potential legal action. Police have also appealed to members of the public and local business operators who may have CCTV footage or video recordings of the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
