A somtam ‘papaya pok-pok’ seller had her gold chain snatched as she was driving through Pattaya.

Nang Thongsuk, 42, reported Feb. 27 that she was driving her papaya salad cart on Sukhumvit Road when another motorcyclist came alongside, reached over and grabbed the chain.

Police checked nearby CCTV cameras for an image of the thief, but said it was likely a crime of opportunity.
